Hello!

January is hard, isn’t it? Harder still when the weather is shite (errr, Zeus, where are you now?) and illness descends upon the household. Bill and I each had a hideous bout of sickness over the weekend, and before that a cold. We are sort of recovered now, but  still… Illness + weather + January = crap.

It’s hard when you go back to work after Christmas trying to be positive about a new year etc get through the cold dark months of January and February, and then you are continually thwarted not only by an office that struggles to maintain a temperature of 10 oC but also by some horrible sickness inducing thing. (I know: And natural disasters, freezing to death, redundancy, etc. forever.)

It does seem like the breastmilk magic is working to protect Hallam from our gastrointestinal ailment, however. So, there is some shiny good antibody news for 2010! Breastfeeding is apparently healthy, sofar touch wood!

Anyway. I’ve decided “That’s it! It’s practically February now so I really must stop moping and get into a routine. I will start by blogging on a regular basis.”

So this is the blog to say that I am going to write in my blog.

That’s a good start, right?
